At Houston Church, we believe that life-change happens best in circles rather than rows — through authentic relationships in a small group rather than by looking at the back of someone’s head on Sunday morning. We call these community groups, a small group of people who are committed to connecting relationally and growing spiritually.
In a small group, people eat together, pray together, and learn & grow together as they discuss the Bible and the challenges of life. It’s where they care for one another, and are missed if they don’t show up. This is the environment where we celebrate the successes of life, and where we comfort one another during the disappointing times. These groups not only help you apply what you’re hearing in the Sunday messages, but they instantly make church feel personal.
Small groups are made up of about 14-16 people, and most groups meet weekly in the homes of its members all across the Heart of Georgia on a weekly basis. Small groups are offered for a variety of ages and life stages.
